The Ektara is one of the most famous Bangladeshi instrument known to the human kind. An Ektara is a string instrument which is like the brother of the Chinese instrument Ehru. The Ektara is also known as the Iktar or Ektar. The neck is a type of pole or a split bamboo stick. The body is also made from thick bamboo material with silk strings. A famous Ektara player from Bangladesh is Saieen Zahoor, Parvathy Baul and Mrighanavi. This instrument came from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan. The Ektara is a delicate but amazing instrument.

The Bansuri is the second most popular Bangladeshi instrument. This instrument is a woodwind. The Bansuri is a blowing instrument. This instrument came from Bangladesh, Nepal and Korea. A famous bansuri player is Hariprasad Chaurasia. This instrument is made out of bamboo. The bansuri is an excelent asian instrument .

The Tabla is the most popular instrument in Bangladesh! It is a percussion instrument that you hit. The tabla came from Egypt , Pakistan, Bangladesh and India. A famous Tabla player is Phulijhuri Khan. The tabla is made out of wood and metal. The tabla is the most played instrument in Bangladesh and is amazing for celebrations.
